    Lean Manufacturing Engineer - Full Time

  • Lean Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible to develop or improve manufacturing processes by increasing efficiency and boosting profits of the company in the manufacturing of our products. He/she will be responsible for providing the overall manufacturing process design and measures for improvement of manufacturing, thereby increasing productivity and improving manufacturing costs.
  • Interface with multi-discipline team to assist in the design/development of new products which aligns with a manufacturing process
  • Analyze layout of equipment, workflow, and assembly methods to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Author and document work instructions for product and process improvements
  • Maintain bill of materials and labor hour cost updates in EPICOR (E)9) MRP system
  • Perform motion and time studies
  • Incorporate Six Sigma practices to improve manufacturing processes and eliminate defects
  • Manage projects from concept through implementation
  • Provide instruction and training of lean principals
  • BS in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field with lean manufacturing minor (desired)
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience desired, however, entry level may be considered
  • Knowledgeable about lean manufacturing tools and processes
  • Lean Manufacturing and 5S practitioner
  • Must be a strong trainer with strong communication skills
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with leadership skills that is willing to drive innovation and change
  • Should have an eye for details and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software required
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Required frequently: sitting, pulling, pushing, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching
  • Use of fingers for computer keyboard typing
  • Lift up to 50lbs
