What is e-invoicing?

Electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) is the exchange of the invoice document between a supplier and a buyer in an integrated electronic format. Traditional paper invoicing is manually intensive and is prone to human error resulting in increased costs and processing lifecycles for companies. Issuing PDF invoices removes paper from the process, but it does not provide full integration as our AP department still has to capture the data from the PDF, while e-invoices are being sent in either XML, EDI, or by using a supplier portal to transfer invoice data more securely, quickly & accurately.

Why is AirBoss encouraging the use of e-invoicing?

As part of AirBoss’ ongoing efforts to improve efficiency, we are accelerating the next phase of our financial transaction processing strategy. This transition will ensure on-time payment, increased traceability, and strengthen supplier relationships. You can read more on how e-invoicing will benefit you on our Pagero Project Page.

Why has AirBoss chosen Pagero as their service provider?

AirBoss has partnered with Pagero, a global B2B network, to provide electronic invoicing that will be rolled out for the receipt of all invoices. Pagero was chosen because they offer the most flexible solutions, value to our suppliers, and are able to interoperate with solutions you may already have. The implementation and support of e-invoicing will be managed on behalf of AirBoss by Pagero. However, any queries for AirBoss can be sent to Accounts.Payable@airboss.com.

Pagero has started contacting suppliers on AirBoss’ behalf, as AirBoss will be rejecting paper and pdf invoices. For more information, you can visit our Pagero Project Page where you can find FAQs and a guide which will help answer your questions about our e-Invoicing project with Pagero.
